I work at the intersection of innovation, rights, and governance.

We are at a critical juncture. As we leap into a digital era at speed, the systems we build today will determine how people are treated tomorrow. In healthcare, in finance, in education, in law enforcement, in every part of daily life increasingly shaped by technology.
My focus is making sure we are well positioned through robust governance, and that we code in the ethics that prevent us from taking our existing discriminatory practices and amplifying them at scale through our digital systems.
I am blessed to work in an area that is my profession, my passion, and my purpose.
For over two decades I have advised governments, boards, and executives across the UK, US, Caribbean, and Canada on privacy, AI governance, and digital compliance. I have been on product teams behind apps millions of people use every day. I have worked through some of the world's largest data breaches, inside the room where the decisions had to be made. I have built privacy programmes from scratch, taken others to full maturity, constructed Binding Corporate Rules through to regulatory approval, and helped organisations face regulator investigations and come through the other side.Kitchen-table startups to global technology companies. Founders to boards. I have seen this from every angle.
Through The Information Collective I provide strategic advisory to boards, governments, and institutions.
Digital compliance is where consumer rights meet digital laws. That space is expanding fast. Privacy, AI governance, cross-border data flows, platform accountability, digital regulation. These are the questions that determine whether technology works for people or is used against them.
Through Noir Digital Law I support companies navigating the complexities of digital business operations.
Through DPO Like a Boss I am building the next generation of digital compliance leaders. My book, DPO Like a Boss: From Compliance to Boardroom in the Age of AI, is coming soon.
I champion diversity and inclusion as the Caribbean Chapter Chair for Women in AI Governance. I am deeply committed to the Caribbean's digital future and actively support initiatives like Black Pound Day.
Samantha has also appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean, Season 8, Episode 3.
There is a great deal still to do.
